Work in progress is challenging.
That has to do with trust in better perspectives!
Some weeks ago there was a leading article in the Telegraaf about "My Eyes". TX for al your positive feedback!!!!
Returned from Mumbai for a discovery with Indian students.
And the official opening of Terminal 3 in New Delhi. An amazing service intitiative of ACTM in Hoofddorp.
I also travelled through Poland and Germany.
Cracow is a must see.
Auschwitz is an everlasting imprint.
Also involved in the preparation of an annual meeting for Real Estate Agents / Makelaars.
I will make a search on the quality of living in a number of cities in the Netherlands together with the do's and dont's in the development of housing facilities.
With a well known journalist specialized in this topic, Karin Rutstrom from Stockholm, I will compare the Scandinavian situation with ours.
I prepared a DNA search for Hilversum, Haarlem, Eindhoven and Purmerend. Amsterdam is still under investigation.
During these sunny days I will make an observational trip to some Hema branches. It is interesting to experience how this brand is so closely linked to the Dutch DNA.
Based on my visual research of dutch cities a book will be published about " The composition of Cities " a DNA discovery into the elements that create character and uniqueness of 20 cities in the Netherlands.
DNA definitions including key issues to be solved within 12 conversations with so called stakeholders are becoming a major time factor in our daily workload.
Another highlight last year was a sailing trip for 3000 km on the Bark Europa to Antartica. More than 6000 images have been added into floor 0109 > Countries.
Have a close look at the small selection in the free preview!
And herewith an Antartica poem I wrote:

OBSERVING THE DRAKE PASSAGE
A vision to inflame the heart:
The swell of a movement that shapes the world,
and waves that end in places beyond number.
We have no power to judge them;
the waves roam where they will.
A hidden continent,
full of undiscovered wonders;
a mighty fortress, yet vulnerable--
dreams become real for those who cannot look away,
both above and below the mirror sea.
We who sail are mere visitors, mere passersby;
we live only at the pleasure of an indulgent Deep.
With every ripple we shrink inside ourselves,
and to behold the vast, unfathomable waters and live,
we all must know that we are but a drop.
A ship under full power strains against the wind
and is tossed as easily as a child's toy.
Frightened faces hold fast to each other--a tenuous grip.
One for all. All for one.
The bow plunges through the whelming sea,
and all our trembling.
Yet the water courses with lovely streams;
in truth, we know only the surface of the deep.
Crashing waves foam away into mere bubbles--
poetry in motion for one who has eyes to see--
Angels' tresses twirling down.
We see such things as could not be expected or imagined,
and restless, graceful waves do not conceal
the sea's fierce power.
The heart is torn--to see so much
and yet so little.
A sound of music: Debussy, Elgar, Grieg.
A grateful heart sets sail for home.
My book " Ondernemen is een straatfeest" has been bought by 10.000 people who were interested in the subject.
The publisher will try to sell the idea on the English market for an international edition.
NEW:
There is a fundamental change for my subscribers in the usage of my site.
Now all the files have a slideshow/view mode with enlarged visuals.
This gives a far better insight in the contents of the categories and thereby the download function is also more efficient to use.
More and more we feel that street-o-logy gets accepted as a mentality that helps companies and organizations better to connect to the outside world. By knowing better where they stand for and with what kind of DNA ( brands, cities and companies ) they offer unique values.
Thereby it gives concrete experiences that help people to communicate far more effectively.
For the simple truth very often is that without experiencing the real world you hardly can talk about it.
And there is no strategy without street-o-logy.
